This policy explains how Aiko Child Care ("Aiko Preschool & Daycare", "Aiko", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through www.aikochildcare.com. We follow the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, of Sri Lanka.
Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to send us through the forms on this website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, the subject and your message.
- Book a visit form: your name, email address, phone number, your child's age, the programme you're interested in, your preferred visit date and any message.
Please don't include sensitive details about your child (such as health information) in these forms. We will ask for anything we need during enrolment, in person.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a visit to our centres.
- To help you with admissions if you decide to enrol your child.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
How it is handled and stored
When you submit a form, your details are sent by email to our team through our email provider. The website does not keep a separate database of submissions. Enquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond to you and manage admissions, and then deleted. The website is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. If you change the accessibility settings (for example text size or contrast), they are saved in your own browser so they stay the same on your next visit. They never leave your device, and "Reset all" in the accessibility menu clears them.
Other websites
Our pages link to other services, such as Google Maps for directions, our Facebook pages and Google Photos albums of our events. Blog images are served from our blog provider. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
Photos of children
Photos of children appear on this website and in our event albums only with the consent of their parents or guardians. If you would like a photo of your child removed, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
